In the brand-new drama series Life Happens, everything revolves around the thin line between chaos and control. Eva (Heidi De Grauwe), Stijn (Joris Van den Brande), Aline (Sinay Bavurhe), Bas (Dries De Sutter), Charlotte (Lotte Lesage), Thibo (Maarten Goffin), and Flo (Paulien De Bock) each try to find their own path in a life full of major challenges, hidden secrets, and unfulfilled dreams. As they navigate between their ambitions and the harsh reality, they struggle to keep all the balls in the air—but is that even possible? Life Happens exposes the pressure of an seemingly perfect life and reveals how vulnerability can sometimes be the key to true connection.

The series follows the daily lives of Eva, Stijn, Aline, Bas, Charlotte, Thibo, and Flo. Though they form one big family, each of them carries their own burdens. Bas is caught between his responsibility as Mila’s father and his passion for his job as a captain. His ex-wife Aline, a single mother, juggles work, children, and the care of her family every day. But how does this free-spirited woman make room for new love in her life? Or will her past with Bas continue to haunt her?

For Stijn and Eva, everything seems to be going perfectly: two beautiful children, a newly renovated home that always looks immaculate, and flourishing careers. But when Eva gets promoted, their picture-perfect life starts to crack. Meanwhile, their daughter Flo struggles with the turbulence of adolescence and her search for identity.

Charlotte and her soulmate Thibo dream of having a child, but their journey to parenthood turns into a challenging road filled with medical treatments. At the same time, Thibo’s gambling addiction puts their relationship under further strain, while the pressures of their startup business make everything even more complicated.
